Daniel Stein
I’m a first-year PhD student in the Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics Program at Harvard Medical School. I’m interested in developing computational methods for analyzing spatial transcriptomics and understanding the structures of tissues and the interactions between cells in health and disease. I graduated from MIT in 2022 with degrees in Biological Engineering and Computer Science, where I worked with Prof. Doug Lauffenburger to develop methods for translating omics measurements across species. Outside of the lab, I enjoy biking, classical and Broadway music, and ballroom dancing.
